Professor Tim DwyerResearcher

Tim Dwyer is a researcher whose work focuses on Information Visualisation, particularly network visualisation and how it can be used to present complex information in a clear and aesthetically pleasing way. He also has interests in how emerging display technologies, such as large interactive surfaces and augmented and virtual reality, can help perform data analysis.

Tim has co-supervised PhD students at SensiLab. He is currently Deputy Dean of Research in the Faculty of Information Technology.

He holds PhD from the University of Sydney in 2005, and has worked as a post-doctoral Research Fellow at Monash University, a Visiting Researcher at Microsoft Research, and a Senior Software Development Engineer with the Visual Studio product group at Microsoft.
