Lang TuVisiting PhD researcher

Lang Tu is a PhD candidate at the School of Creative Arts, Academy of Visual Arts of Hong Kong Baptist University.

She is also a visual artist and designer who graduated from Glasgow School of Art BA (Hons) Visual Communication and Kingston University London MA Experimental Film. Her work experiments with space, using media and materials to discover and create spectacles and moments in virtual reality. Her works questions and redefines the value of the object, invention, and image we see in daily life, and explore the imagination and affairs that unite her perception of the media and living environment extending out from them.

Tu Lang also founded the curatorial research project “SPAM PROJECT”. Recently exhibitions include: Koo Ming Kwon Exhibition Gallery, Made In Gallery, Capri by Night Cologne, Galaxy Contemporary Art Museum, I:Project Space, “NEoN New Media Art Festival” Dundee, “Take in Natural” We Gallery Shanghai, “B3+Moving Image Biennale” CAFA Museum Beijing, “BYOB” Beijing.

Lang was a visiting researcher at SensiLab from 1st July – 2nd August 2024.
