Aileen NgPhD student

Aileen Ng is an artist, designer, engineer and PhD candidate at SensiLab, Monash University, supervised by Dr. Rowan Page and Professor Jon McCormack. She holds a Bachelor of Industrial Design and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Monash University and has worked as a designer and engineer in the health, transport, and renewable energy sectors. Aileen is also a practising artist and has exhibited work across Australia and Japan.By blending artistic practice with scientific inquiry she is interested in the intersection of illusion, perception, and memory in art and design, investigating how these elements shape our experience of reality.
