As a part of the wider White Night celebrations FashionTech Melbourne ran a showcase at No Vacancy Gallery that highlighted emerging talent in fashion and technology.
‘Imagine that in the not too distant future we can wear our computers. We can communicate by displaying virtual objects on virtual costumes.’
Domenico Mazza, a PhD candidate at SensiLab, displayed a sculpture that shows the possibilities of a world where costumes of all shapes and sizes exist on surfaces on and around us, allowing us to interact and share files and information.
This event took place on 17 February at No Vacancy Gallery, Melbourne CBD.
